What attractions are near Bryn Llan Caravan and Camping?

Hidden and secluded beaches are plentiful around the peninsula, including the site's nearest of Whistling Sands a short drive away.

Managed by the National Trust, this peaceful beach is also home to a good variety of wildlife such as razorbills, shags and kittiwakes, as well as seals (best spotted while bodyboarding in the waves) and – with luck – dolphins. Pick up a wildlife trail leaflet at the beach cabin in spring and summer to see what you can spot.

Also close by, take the boat to Bardsey Island for more wildlife watching: the isle is famed as a a nesting site for Manx shearwaters and choughs, and seals and dolphins can usually be spotted in the surrounding waters. Take one of the marked paths around the island to explore, or drop into Bardsey's school for an exhibit on Bardsey Island history and community.
